The Gershwins’ Hard-Hitting Anti-War Satire, ‘Strike Up the Band,’ To Get Rare Performance at Carnegie Hall.
Victoria Clark, Shereen Ahmed, Phillip Attmore, More to Star in MasterVoices Strike Up the Band Concert at Carnegie Hall. The rarely performed Gershwin musical will be presented at Carnegie Hall, kicking off MasterVoices' 83rd season. Artistic Director Ted Sperling will lead the 120-member chorus and guest soloists in the rarely performed Gershwin musical comedy. The concert is choreographed by Alison Solomon.
She's been an Associate on Broadway for the last decade, striving not only to create the best possible choreography in every project she headlines but also to ensure artistic equity and access to dance education for young people. But Ali's impressive resume represents just one facet of her busy life in New York City. She wears many hats, including being a dog mom to Tink.
